RAID configuration on HP Proliant DL380 Gen10 after OS installed
Hello,
I have new HP Server HP Proliant DL380 Gen10 with 2 hard drives of 1.2TB each. I am trying to configure RAID 1 after OS been installed in the server, and while going through the steps, at this point of selecting the drives to create a logical drive I get a warning message " One or more selected drives are connected to mixed mode ports, and directly exposed to the OS. These drives will become unavailable to the OS after this operation."
So, Is it safe to configure RAID on the server after OS installed on the server, will my data be loss after doing so.Thank You

Re: RAID configuration on HP Proliant DL380 Gen10 after OS installed
If there are data already on the drives and you create a RAID now, data will be lost.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
