RAID rebuild will stop after 1-2% and stuck on "Ready for Rebuild"
Hello,
We have an DL180 G5 with Smart Array P400, and with 2 RAID5 arrays on it.
# hpacucli controller slot=6 ld all show Smart Array P400 in Slot 6 array A logicaldrive 1 (3.4 TB, RAID 5, Ready for Rebuild) array B logicaldrive 2 (199 MB, RAID 5, OK) logicaldrive 3 (9.1 TB, RAID 5, OK)
we had a failed drive which we replace and that initiate the rebuild for array B,
but now we have array A stuck on "Ready for Rebuild" for few days now.
If i restart the machine, the rebuild process will start again, but will stop after 1-2% of progress.
All the PhysicalDrivers are ok
# hpacucli ctrl slot=6 pd all show status physicaldrive 1I:1:1 (port 1I:box 1:bay 1, 750 GB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:2 (port 1I:box 1:bay 2, 1 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:3 (port 1I:box 1:bay 3, 1 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:4 (port 1I:box 1:bay 4, 1 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:5 (port 1I:box 1:bay 5, 750 GB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:6 (port 1I:box 1:bay 6, 750 GB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:7 (port 1I:box 1:bay 7, 2 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:8 (port 1I:box 1:bay 8, 2 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:9 (port 1I:box 1:bay 9, 2 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:10 (port 1I:box 1:bay 10, 2 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:11 (port 1I:box 1:bay 11, 2 TB): OK physicaldrive 1I:1:12 (port 1I:box 1:bay 12, 2 TB): OK
when runing show config detail I see this message for array A
