RBSU Set Power-on Password length ?

What is the maximum password length for the power-on password that can be entered in RBSU, Menue Item Server Passwords e.g for a DL380-G4 ? It's ok with 6 characters but with 11 we are not able to unlock the server on power up.

The Set Power-On Password option sets a password that controls access to the server during power-up. The server cannot be powered up until the correct password is entered. The Set Power-On Password option uses a simple character string with a maximum of seven characters. To disable or clear the password, enter the password followed by a / (slash) when prompted to enter the password.
