RE-install NT
Any feedback is appreciated. I have a Proliant 3000 with Smart Array 2SL. Currently, I am running RAID 5 with C and F partitions. Since the array controller is an older model, I could not just add hard drives to increase the size of those partitions. I was told that I have to recreate the array with new larger drivers and then re-install NT and restore the data files with the tape backup. Do you have any better idea?
Besides NT 4 and Compaq SSD, do I need to download any other drivers from the Compaq web site? After I re-install NT 4, will the files and folders NTFS permissions be restored from the tape backup? If not, what is the way to do it. Thanks.

Re: RE-install NT
sadly that is the method that you need to use...and yes the ntfs files and folder permissions will be restored too
