REALLY basic ML370 question

My company is going out of business and we need to know the specs of our ProLiant ML370 server (for sale). All I want to find out is the speed and ram. It's running Novell 5.1 (I have access to the admin client). These numbers appear on the serial# sticker:
P667-256 128. Can anyone help me find out what I need to know? Thank you so much.

Re: REALLY basic ML370 question

Hi Kerry,

With the info given you have a PIII 667 mhz processor with 256 KB second level cache and 128 mb pc 133 mhz base memory (although you might have added more memory). To find out you can boot the server up and check for the ram and the numbers of processors on the post sceen.

Hope this will help.

Re: REALLY basic ML370 question

I would take a look at:
http://www.compaq.com/products/quickspecs/10493_na/10493_na.HTML

This web page provides all the info on this server, except the processor speed on this page is listing the fastest speed available for the latest ML370. All other info should be correct for this server.
The truth is out there, but I forgot the URL..

Re: REALLY basic ML370 question

OR:

You can use NetWare console commands to get this information.

CPUCHECK will give you the number and configuration of processors in the server.

MEMORY will tell you how much memory you have installed.

Cheers,

Janine
