Re: RHEL 4 and proliant 360 g5

Check driver readme:

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib2/software1/pubsw-linux/p308167397/v41462/bnx2-1.5.10d-2.src.txt

The bnx2 driver requires the presence of the kernel source code and configuring the kernel source before building the bnx2 driver.

If the /usr/src/linux- directory does not exist, install the kernel source code per Red Hat instructions.

Re: RHEL 4 and proliant 360 g5

Have u tried to install PSP, instead to install only one driver?

I'm saying that, cause using this method u have all the kernel modules updated and the install791.sh will do all for you.

If you are receiving rpmbuild command not found, just install this package:

rpm-build-4.3.3-23_nonptl

The version, depends of your RH4 Update X.
