ROMpaq firmware for ML570 G3 - not able to D/L it.

Hello,

If you go to this link: http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24009.html

you will see a new version (4.04 - dated Dec6) for the systems Rompaq on the ML570 G3 Proliant server. However, when you click on the Download button, you get an error (page cannot be displayed).

It's been like this for 2 days, and it looks like this is an upgrade I should do (our new ML570 G3 has Win2003 x64 loaded on it).

Any idea what's up? Thanks!

Worked fine for me.
Ask your network stuff, may be they blocked ftp download?

Hmm... I have been able to DL other files from HP (iLO firmware upgrades, etc) just now. But not the one I listed above.

Odd that I would have problems getting to HP's ftp site for one specific D/L, but not others...

Eric, you are not alone, I don't have
ML570 G3, just tried to download :-)
I have "page cannot be displayed" too.
The file to download ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp31501-32000/SP31825.exe and if you open
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp31501-32000 - you will see that file SP31825.exe
missing in this folder
I don't have ML570 G3, just tried :-)
Use "Contact HP"

Hmm - I didn't think of just going to the base URL where the *.exe lies and looking for it. It's just not there, like you said.

I found that ftp.compaq.com have several mirrors.
I can download this from 161.114.65.123, but cannot from 161.114.23.171.
Try do download from
ftp://161.114.65.123/pub/softpaq/sp31501-32000/SP31825.exe

Perfect! That link did the trick - must be an inconsistency with their mirrors.
