Rackmount ProLiant DL Server Specifications

Hello everyone,

We are considering increasing the number of servers in our racks. At present, DL servers are installed in the racks with one HU space. The question arose as to whether the servers could also be installed without a gap. I'm assuming that's the case, I just wanted to ask if there is a document from HPE confirming this.

I only found documents on ambient temperature, humidity, electrical specifications, but not on this.

Many thanks for the support.

Re: Query: Spezifikationen zum Einbau ProLiant DL Server in Rack

Hello,

Thanks for the answer.

I know how to rackmount a server. I would like to know if I can install several servers directly on top of each other without gaps.

As long as the datacenter is well cooled and the temperature of the servers is withing the normal, operative ranges, you may stack them up with no gap in between.

keep checking the "sea of sensors" in the iLO to make sure about the temperature of the servers.

that's it.
