Radeon HD5850 does not start on Proliant ML150 G6
I have tried both a Radeon HD4850 and HD5850 on my G6 and both does not start up. I tried a X1950 and that worked. Could it be a bios setting?

Re: Radeon HD5850 does not start on Proliant ML150 G6
Standard: 460W Non-Hot Plug, Non-Redundant Power Supply (70% efficiency)
Optional: 750W CS HE Gold Hot Plug Power Supply (92% efficiency)
as i checked if you have 460W PSU with %70 eff = you should have 300W power and that may not be enought to power Graph. card on, Dunno power req. of HD4850 and HD5850 but i dont think lower than 150W, I suggest you to try these cards on another PC with same power if doesnt power it on other Pc aswell i can say it is power issue.

Re: Radeon HD5850 does not start on Proliant ML150 G6
Thanks Karabuyu. Is does have a 460w ps. Both these cards work in other pcs all with 550w + power supplies. On the 4850 the 1601 led comes on start up which indicates a over temp protection. But this card boots up fine on other pcs. Also i have a flashing green led on the motherbaord next to the PCIE slot.
