Raid Advice On DL360 G7
Hi.
I am quite familiar with HP Proliant servers and Also Windows Server OS's
But today I was called out to a DL360 G7 running SBS2011.
It has in total 4 Hot Swap Drives and one of them is flashing amber.
Usually I would go into the HP ACU APP underwindows and find out what the raid situation is and the steps to take.
But when I go into ACU it says no controllers detected.
I can only presume that this is because the SBS2011 is running virtualised under VMWare ESXi 5.0.0.
I am not familiar at all with this Virtualisation Host
I have posted a questions on VMWares website and they have given me a very long winded way of looking at the raid array and finding out the issue with the drive.
So I was wondering is there anyway of getting the raid and drive info under windows ?
Any help greatly recvd.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Raid Advice On DL360 G7
The system info screen also has a "Drives" tab so you can look at the current drive status (I like having that option, something they added in ILO 3).
