Raid Volume expansion on p410i

 Hi All,

i need some help.

i recently added 3 new drives to a HP DL370 G6.

after migrating one of the existing drives and two of the new drives to a raid 5 my partition stays the same size.

did i miss something?

Once you expand an array and logical drive(s) you need to use OS utilities to expand the partition and file system within the OS

shouldn't my partition extend by itself?

No, the extra space will show up as unallocted space to the OS. You need to create a new partition, or expand an existing one to use the additional space.
