Hi all,
I currently have a server (Dl 380G4). it has 2 72Gb hard disk and it is installed with windows 2003.
I would like to enquire:
1) how should i check if there is a RAID card installed on the server?
2) what would be the best method to setup RAID 1(hardware raid) on the server?
2) in setting it up is there a need to re-format these disk and re-install the OS for the server?
Regards,
Calvin

Re: Raid configuration
With G4 at Post you should see F8 - ROM Based Setup Utility for Array Controller
All DL380G4 should have Smart Array 6i Controller (integrated on system board) or Smart Array P600 if it SAS Server.
RAID 1 from Smart Start CD or from F8
OS Install assisted installation from Latest Smart Start or OS CD and F6 from OS for SCSI Driver
