Raid controller S100i vs B140i

Hello.

The server ml30 gen9 comes with a controller raid B140i and and the generation 10 with a controller S100i. Which is better? I'm going to buy a server and I have doubts about which of the two to buy. Thank you.

Both controllers are chipset SATA controllers that offer software RAID functionality when using a proprietary driver.  The driver is only available for specific OS releases. B140i is in Gen9 ProLiant and the S100i controller is in the Gen 10 ProLiant servers.
