Raid migration E200i controller
I have some BL465cG6 blade servers and want to extend the array after swapping the disks one by one with larger disks.
I can see the additional free space, but this entry level controller cannot extend the array if it doesn't have a 128 MB BBWC kit installed.
It seems possible to migrate the Raid 1 configuration to a Raid 0 config and use all available space.
After I do this I would like to revert back to Raid 1 so I finally have extended my array to use all available space.
Is the Raid migration from 1 -> 0 and back possible ?

Re: Raid migration E200i controller
raid migrations are usually don to extend the volume not shrink. I don't think you will be able to go back.

Why do you say that? Based on the E200 specs, even the raid level migration needs the BBWC (or 128MB/BBWC) upgrade.
