Raid on Proliant M110G3

Does Ml110 supports raid 1 without any option installed?
Is raid 1 integrated in the mainboard and configured by Bios?
Thanks.

Re: Raid on Proliant M110G3

The ML110 G3 does support RAID. You should see the SATA controller initializing during POST and the option to get into the configuration utility is F8.

You may have to enable the raid in the BIOS set up (F10), there is an option for IDE configuration where you need to set the ATA/IDE setting to Enhanced and set it to use RAID.

I had some problem to configure till I update the BIOS on the server; one of the updates added support for the RAID
The BIOS:

The driver:

ThereтАЩs your problem!!! This thing is set to EVIL!

Re: Raid on Proliant M110G3

ML110 G3 SATA model include
integrated 2 port embedded SATA RAID controller and support RAID1.
You can configure SATA RAID in BIOS.
For ML110 G3 SCSI model you can configure software RAID (from OS).
