Raid on Proliant ML150 g2
I have a Proliant ML150 G2 with a sata raid array. There are 3 drives setup as a raid 5, and 3 avaliable sata slots. I purchased 3 new drives and put them in the slots, but the raid utility only sees 1 of the drives, the drive in channel 4. Does anyone know why ports 5 and 6 would not work?

Re: Raid on Proliant ML150 g2
it is because your controller only supports up to 4 SATA HDDs with the SATA controller
check
4 port SATA Adapter in a PCI slot (SATA Model)

Re: Raid on Proliant ML150 g2
Thanks for your reply I checked the machine and it does have 6 sata ports on the controller card, but the last two do not have sata cables connecting them.
