?Random? SNMP traps sent from ProLiant DL360e Gen8 ESXi Host?
Dear HPE Support Community!
We have configured the iLO4 of two DL360e Gen8 and 3 DL380p Gen8 to send SNMP traps to our monitoring server, which is running KS Soft Advanced Host Monitor. There is a strange behaviour going on. The servers which have ESXi 5.5 (with latest updates) installed seem to randomly send SNMP traps (with the iLO Host Name as data). When I get the alerts and log in to vSphere, I can't see any anomalies. Also in iLO4, I can't see any entries in the IML or the iLO Event Log. The DL380p Gen8 servers, which do not have ESXi installed, don't send those traps.
Does anybody have an idea about what I could do?
Many thanks in advance!
Best regards
