Reboot requires power cycle.

Have installed latest ROMPaq and SoftPaq, but still are forced to cold
boot the machine to restart Windows.

Suggestions?

What "softpaq" did you install (Win2K SupportPaq)? What else is installed on the system? Do you get any type of errors?

I have taken over the case from my co-worker ltagawa.

I have a DL580, RAID 1, that has lately been hanging at a black screen with a curson blinking in the top left corner on reboot. I have gone as far as to 1) upgrade firmware on BIOS and RAID controller. 2) re-install Smartstart and Windows 2000 Server w/ SP1. 3) download and apply Compaq's Software pack for Win 2K. None of which does any help.
