Recovery Console and SmartArray 5i

When we start running the Recovery Console on a DL380 Server with Windows 2000 SP3 it doesn't recognize the smart array 5i controller. You have to press F6 to load the driver and it work. If you don't load the driver, you receive a blue screen Boot_Device_In accessible. I have tried to install the last driver and it is the same issue. Do someone knows how to resolve this issue ? We have experienced this problems also. To resolve it we did the following.

Copied the Compaq array driver files

CPQCISSM.DLL
CQPCISSM.SYS

to the c:\cmdcons folder

edit the TXTSETUP.SIF file for the recovery console and added the following entries

[SCSI.Load]
cpqcissm = cpqcissm.sys,4

[SCSI]
cpqcissm = "Compaq Smart Array Controller 5i"

That's it!
