Red Hat Enterprise 3.0 unable to detect Smart Array Controller P400

I just bought a ML370 G5 server that comes with Smart Array Controller P400.When I tried to install Red Hat Enterprise 3.0, it keeps prompting disk drive cannot be detected.

So, I downloaded the cpq_cciss-2.4.62-5.rhel3.i386.dd.gz and proceeded to create the Driver Diskette by following the instruction (making Diskette under MS-DOS)
However, Red Hat was still uable to detect the driver. The floppy disk drive was read and then nothing happened.

Is there any step missing here?
Please help!
