Redhat 9 not finding tape drive in Proliant ML370
hello,
I just installed Redhat 9 on a Proliant ML370. It doesn't seem to want to find the tape drive. It's a 20/40 GB DAT SCSI drive that came with the machine.
Any ideas?

Re: Redhat 9 not finding tape drive in Proliant ML370
How is the drive connected to the machine?
How do you know that the drive isn't recognized?
Does the dmesg command show anything like:
st: Version 20030406, bufsize 32768, max init. bufs 4, s/g segs 16
Attached scsi tape st0 at scsi1, channel 0, id 5, lun 0
