Redhat Cluster - fencing does not work on HP DL120G6

Hi,

I've set up Redhat Cluster Suite (RH4 & RH5) to fence servers on failure and it does not work at all :

root>fence_ilo -a 192.168.0.10 -l admin -d admin
Unable to connect/login to fencing device

Anyway, I noticed that port 443 is used to connect to ILO in fence_ilo script

So, I have tested to connect and it works fine with warning message as follow :

root> ssl -D 443 admin@192.168.0.10
bind : address already in use
channel_setup_fwd_listener: cannot listen on port 443
could not request local forward

Any advices or idenfify issue ?

Thanks

Rodolphe

ProLiant 100 series does not have an iLO management processor, it has LO100 which is an IPMI baseboard management controller. Follow the cluster instructions for an IPMI BMC, not HP iLO.

Thanks a lot for this quick answer !

I go further and getting stuck on 'ipmitool not found'. I've browsed and found also hpbmc to talk to IPMI

What does it mean ? do I have to build ipmitool ?
