Redundant Power Supply
I would like to know, about the Hot Plug Redundant Power Supply for DL380G4 and DL360G4. If we have only standard config plus one 146GB HDD and a External DAT 40 Tape Backup, do we really need a redundant power supply to supply enough power. Or it is just for redundancy only.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Redundant Power Supply
Hi
Redundant power supply is not for extra power and it is solely for redundancy in case one of them fails. The need for redundant power supply is your decision which you make based on the server criticality, availability.

Re: Redundant Power Supply
Thanks for the replies. Just to confirm that one power supply that comes standard with a server is enough for a standard config.
UPS comes with the server rack.
