Or redundant power supply remain inactive and becomes active only when primary power supply or its inlet power fails?

both power supplies are working at the same time and they share the power load they work 50 - 50 so when one of them fails the other one work at 100 % (jejee of course)

SolutionThere is no Active-Passive redundancy option available in server.
Either u can use a single power supply only or u can install 2 power supplies which by default work in Active-Active redundancy.
