Redundant Power supply

I have 5 Proliant ML350 servers with redundant power supplies. My question is, if both supplies are getting inlet power, do they share the power load?
Or redundant power supply remain inactive and becomes active only when primary power supply or its inlet power fails?

both power supplies are working at the same time and they share the power load they work 50 - 50 so when one of them fails the other one work at 100 % (jejee of course)

Thanks, but can I make one power supply as primary so that 100% power is drawn from this and redundant power supply become active only when primary fails?

Dear Arvind,

There is no Active-Passive redundancy option available in server.
Either u can use a single power supply only or u can install 2 power supplies which by default work in Active-Active redundancy.
