Redundant power supply unit troubleshooting.
Hi...Anyone know how to test the HP proliant redundant power supply without slice into server???

PSU for HP Proliant ML350 G3.I mean, I only got the PSU only & need to test either it working.

Hi
ML350 G3 model have 1+1 power supply.
If power supply out of order, it's LED flash orange color.
LED normal state is green.
If you want test whether your redundancy power system is good.
follow below method.
1. Connect all power cable.
2. Power on the system.
3. Pull out the one power cable.
4. If system in runnig order reconnect pull outed power cable.
5. And then pull out another cable.
If system also in runnig order the redundancy power system is normal.
If your one power supply out of order,
just pull out and then put into another power supply.
have a nice day..
