Registry fix after applying SP14439 v2.22

Proliant ML570 on TN 4.0 (SP6a) SCSI Controller card cpq32fs2 is posting errors to event viewer "a parity error was detected on \Device\SCSIPort 1". SP14439 v2.22 has been applied, but what registry fix has to be applied after it.

Re: Registry fix after applying SP14439 v2.22

no registry fix is necessary..if you have a parity error showing up after the re-application of the drivers then it isnt the software that is at fault...this can also occur if there is bad termination or a bad cable..check your scsi cabling for cuts or cracks..check the pins for broken or bent pins and if possible swap out the cable...also check termination on any devices ..if you are using the external scsi port then make sure nothing (icluding a loose cable) is attached to port 1 internally...this will cause double termination..external and internal port one share can use one or the other..not both
