Removing procs, and windows 2000

Can i remove 2 of the 4 processors from my server without losing my OS boot?? I want to remove 2 procs because of licencing, but i dont want to reinstaal the whole damned thing again

yes you can..once the multiprocessor hal is in place it is flexible for any number of procs up to 2000 limitation..and also down to 1 proc...
