Rename Powermodule of Blade-Rack
Hi!
Does anybody know how to rename the powermodule of a BL p-Class-Rack?
If you look at the ILO-Homepage of a Server-Blade the enclosures and the rack have a name. But the powermodule is presented only by the serial. I would like to rename it to "Rack1_Power1" for example to identify it more easly with HP Systems Insight Manager.

Re: Rename Powermodule of Blade-Rack
I to have wondered about that same question. Since the Power Enclosure name is not used for what seems, any purpose at all except for "display" purposes in the iLo interface, I could understand why there seems to be no way to change it.
RDP only uses the Rack Name, the Enclosure Name and the Bay Number to populate the database when new blades are installed into the enclosures.
It would be great to rename the PS since it is very much possible to have multiple PS's in one rack. It just makes it "that much neater".
Click here for more info on the iLo interface and available options...
