Replacement Hard Drives

I would like to expand the life of this server by replacing the current 9.1Gb drives. The server has 5x9.1Gb drives & a SMART 2DH Controller.

I have read the various online docs and I am not sure about the various SCSI compatabilty options and would like your advice please.

Are the 18.2Gb Universal Wide Ultra3 (142673-b22) drives compatible?
If so, is the max still 109Gb i.e 6 drives?
Do I need to change anything else at the same time?

Thank You
Allen

Re: Replacement Hard Drives

Dear Allen,
You cannot use the Ultra2/3 drives as they cannot physically fit. You will need to use Wide Ultra SCSI3 drives. We have 9, 18 and 36 GB HDD.
Please provide me your e-mail address if you wish to discuss this further.
