Replacement of HotSwappable HD

I have replaced a hotswappable hard drive with a like hard drive and am not getting the on/off green light (the top one). I'm getting the activity light along with the other drives in its raid5 pool. I replaced it four days ago. The hard drive is part of a 4 drive raid 5 configuration.

What specific drive? Is the activity light flashing steadily (that indicates a rebuild in progress do NOT power it off or it starts all over again)?
