Replacements

What other servers would be a good replacement for the following proliant servers??
-Proliant BL20P G4
-Proliant BL25p G2
-Proliant BL45p G2
-Proliant DL320 G5p
-Proliant DL360
-Proliant DL360 G3
-Proliant DL360 G4p

A Proliant DL360G7 is nice.

But what are you plans/goals? Consolidate trough virtualization? Or are you planning to replace every server with a new one? What are your processing and IOPS needs? What is the workload of these old servers? Is there a SAN somewhere in this environment?

Im working on a Road Map for the company I work. The idea is to know what would be a good replacement for each server. Since all the servers I mentioned are at their EOL.

Hi,

My recommendation are provided inline:

-Proliant BL20P G4
ProLiant BL460c G7

-Proliant BL25p G2
ProLiant BL465c G7

-Proliant BL45p G2
ProLiant BL685 G7

For these remaining servers, would recommend that you go with ProLiant DL360 G7, as it provides a more powerful RAID controller and iLO3 (make sure you buy the required iLO licenses to benefit from it).

-Proliant DL320 G5p
-Proliant DL360
-Proliant DL360 G3
-Proliant DL360 G4p
