Replacing Cpus on Proliant

Dear All

I have 2 servers DL580 G5 having RHEL AS 4 OS on them . I need to do something on this server by removing current 2 CPUs E7310(1.6MHz) and replacing them with 2 new ones E7330(3.00MHz),
how could this issue affect my OS ?

Hi,

I don't quite understand your question but...

E7330 is 2.40MHz, not 3.00. See quickspecs for supported cores (Use HP Core Part numbers!):

I would make sure you have the latest BIOS Firmware and O/S driver updates installed before you upgrade the hardware. Other than that I don't see anything that would indicate an issue. Note: the latest BIOS indicates some fixes for E73xx CPU's.
