Replacing HDD by SSD DC S4500

I have the same problem!

This happens when I change the faulty sas drive to the new SSD DC S4500. The Intel disk is 100% working (new), on another server they running without problems. The problem is repeated with other new disks of Intel

BTW, you cannot replace a HDD with a SSD as spare!

As Torsten stated, this is a pretty old thread, and not the same issue. 

It appears you are trying to replace a SAS drive with a SATA device. While a Smart Array controller does support both SAS and SATA devices, you cannot mix device type within the same array
