Hi,

I was wondering what the result of your upgrade was - were you succesful, and if so, with which drives?

I am in a similar situation where I have a Compaq ML530 (the old one, not the G2) with a SmartArray 3200, and 3 Ultra160 9.1 GB drives already in the hot-swap cage.

I want to add another 3x 72GB drives in a RAID 5 config, and I easier access to Ultra320 drives than Ultra160.

I know from a performance perspective it's a bit pointless running Ultra320 drives on an Ultra2 controller, but will it work?
