Replacing Intel D925 CPU/FAN with Intel XEON 3040 CPU/FAN

Is that possible ?
I bought a ML110 G4 that I tought would be the 3040 processor one. Once received, I noticed it was instead the D925 model.

Seller then sent me a brand new XEON 3040 CPU and FAN to correct its mistake, but :

- The 3040 Fan is different from the D925 one (instead the fan being on the side like the 925, the 3040 is up).
- There is no screws on the 3040, just plastic fastener that I should normally push down.

So I am wondering if the 3040 combination is compatible to be installed on this D925 motherboard ??

I don't any issue I checked and System Board option is the same for all processors
