Reset BIOS password on DL385

I have a problem with a DL385 that I set the admin BIOS password on. It refuses to accept the password I entered, so I can't make any changes to the iLo settings or anything else in BIOS. Is there a way to reset the BIOS password to a default or blank password?

BTW, this is the second HP system where I've had a BIOS or iLo password not change correctly. Previously, it was a DL140, and I had to patch the BIOS to correct the issue. I don't see a similar patch for the DL385.

Try using switch S5, and if it does not help, switch S6 on System Maintenance DIP switch. You can use this document to find it:
