Re: Reset/Find iLO passwords
- use the iLO security override switch on the MB as discussed before
- press [F8] during boot to enter iLO configuration and reset to defaults or set a password for Administrator that you know
- use CPQLODOS from the SmartStart Scripting Toolkit to apply your own default configuration, overwriting whatever's there. This requires booting DOS, presumably from a floppy.
The most "hands-off" way I can think of is the last one. Send a floppy to the remote site and have someone insert it; you login and initiate a restart of the OS and it will boot. At completion that remote person will eject the floppy.
In the unlikely case you are using something like the ProLiant Essentials Rapid Deployment Pack at that remote site (or some other thing that provides PXE services), you could eliminate the physical floppy by PXE booting to DOS with CPQLODOS on it.
