Reset Hot Plug Count to 0 ?
Hi Folks!
I have a DL380 G7 w/p410i & SAAP. I'd like to reset the hard drive hot plug count to 0 for all drives. Does anyone know how to accomplish this?
Thanks!

Re: Reset Hot Plug Count to 0 ?
Is their a specific reason why you are trying to accomplish this task ? It is actually the controller which keeps a count of Hard drive Hot plug count ( one of the many parameters that controller keeps a tab on ) which cannot be modified.
If you notice erroneous values on Hot plug count , firmware update should fix it, but as far as Im aware values cannot be reset.

Re: Reset Hot Plug Count to 0 ?
That's too bad - I really wanted to zero the count on this server but if it can't be done, it can't be done.
This machine got all new drives, as such, I wanted to re-set the baseline.
