Reset Password Insight Manager
When you setup the Proliant server with the HP CD then you are asked for a Adminstrator password which will be needed for opening the Insight Manager Homepage on the server. How can I reset the password when it is lost.

Re: Reset Password Insight Manager
Hi Czar,
there are several options to change the passwords of the Web-Agent:
1. The passwords are stored in the file c:\compaq\wbem\cpqhmmd.acl. If you have a server where you know the passwords, copy over the cpqhmmd.acl file and restart the Agent.
2. Start the GUI of the PSP and configure the passwords for the Foundation Agent and check ├в Overwrite existing security├в . Then reinstall the Agents.
3. If you have IM7 running and you have a trust between the server and IM7 than configure a ├в Software and Frmware Update├в Task to change the passwords. That is a good methode to change the passwords on multiple servers at a time.
Hope
