I have it in my head that doing this does not affect any blades that are running within that system. Can someone confirm this ?
Reason for resetting, is I just added a second chassis, and when I accessed Ilo from both chassis, they complained about a possible invalid topology. Resetting the controller on the new chassis has made the existing chasis stop complaining. I'm assuming I need to reset the existing controller now to stop the new one from complaining.
Both are at FW rev 2.1 all Ilo's are at 1.64.
Thanks

Re: Reset of Management controller - Blade Chassis
Resetting the Management controller resolved the issue.

Re: Reset of Management controller - Blade Chassis
Too bad this can't be done remotely, even over the reserved-to-HP management port. (Which looks like it could usefully be connected to a serial console server.)
