Resources
Recently set up a new Proliant to be a PDC in our environment. On a weekly basis, the server hangs with a "out of resources" error. Checking the environment of the system, we have sufficient memory, disk space and have tripled the pagefile.sys. Research hasn't really shown anything. Any ideas?

Re: Resources
Exactly what memory and drive space does this system have available? What type of load is it under (how many users...)?

Re: Resources
I'm having the same difficulties.
OS Winnt 4 SP5
Memory: 1.2GB
Hard Drives: C: - 4GB (2.5GB free) D: 30GB (29.8GB free)
Number of users: 500
The error appears with synchronization replication: "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."
However, nothing indicates a shortage.

Re: Resources
I'm having the same issue. The Proliant is the PDC and has sufficient everything. Nothing is displayed as a definite error. Here's some info:
Memory: 1.2GB
Hard Drive: C: 4GB (free space 2.5GB)/ D: 30 GB (29.8GB free)
Users: 500
The errors involve Event ID's 5712, 5713, 5714, 5716, 5718
Source: Netlogon
The error reflects synchronization errors of the SAM and BUILTIN data bases: "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service"
All assistance greatly appreciated.
