Restart problem

I have both Proliant 6500 and ML370 servers running Windows 2000 SP2. If I upgrade any system to Internet Explorer 6.0, the system will not restart. It hangs at a blank screen with a flashing cursor in the upper left corner. Only a power down via the power switch will allow a restart. Has anyone found a workaround or fix for this problem?

Uhhhh why in Gods creation are you putting that on a server?

We are also getting this Error. The only difference is that we have IE5 loaded on our box. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
