Restore an image on DL320 G4
Hello,
I've build an image of my DL320 G4 and I will restore it.
But this server has 2 HDD SATA in RAID1 and how I can restore to don't crash my system ??
Must I remove one of the HDD ?
The image was created with the linux utility dd. It create a bit by bit save file of the HDD.
Thx a lot ;-)

Re: Restore an image on DL320 G4
Hello Ludovic,
You can restore it the normal way; as it will see only ONE HDD;
I dont know much about how this image from LINUX will work;
Regards,
James.

Re: Restore an image on DL320 G4
Thx.
But I boot with the live CD Linux SystemRescueCD and it doesn't detect one HDD.
The two same partitionned HDD are discover and I don't know if I restore my image on the first HDD, it would works ....
I can test this method because I don't have any important data on my server, but if there is an adapted method to do the restore, I want it ;-)
