Hi gents,

I've got an ML350 2.2ghz box which is referenced as a G3. However, according to the bios update page:

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/romtabl.html

The G3 line starts at 2.8ghz but the G2 ends at (iirc) 2.2. When updating the bios etc. for this box, should I just use the paq from the G3 (D14) despite it saying from 2.8 - 3.06 ?

During POST the box should identify its BIOS family in the first line after the memory count, as in

ProLiant System BIOS - P29 (07/25/2003)

In this case (a DL380G3) the BIOS family is P29. Check your family and match it.

ML350 <1GHz is D02
ML350 1GHz+ is D04
ML350 G2 is D11
ML350 G3 is D14
ML350 G4 is D17

If your box is not one of these, maybe you don't have an ML350!
