Rompaq installation
I am new to Proliant. i am trying to install Rompaq for DL 360 - P21 4.11 A, when i cold boot to the rompaq floppy, i am getting an error saying flash programming is locked. How do i proceed further. Any help appreciated.

Pat:
When you say you cold boot... you mean that you completely power off the server?
Yes, you need to have the server powered off to use the diskette version.
Confirm that you have a DL360 Generation 1 Server with a PIII processor 667-1266MHz?
Have you tried to update the bios online from your O/S?
Here is the bios update for Windows:
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/17430.html

It worked on a complete shutdown, i was restarting the system,thanks for the help, i will also try the online update option with the remote utility. Thanks
