Running Rompaq for SCSI attached drives from a network share
I've created a boot disk which detects which NIC is in the server and connects to a network share.
I've collated all the firmware images from the 12 floppy disks and placed them in the network share.
I am running the following command from this share to upgrade the firmware on any hard disks it finds in the server:
rompaq /U cpqint.opt AB0XX32A.022
I repeat this for each drive firmware image.
When it runs it completes very quickly (less than a second) and I get no output at all.
If I copy the AB0XX32A.022, cpqint.opt, rompaqp.exe and rompaq.exe to a bootable floppy and run the command it works fine.
Does anyone know how to use the rompaq.exe util or whether it has any memory requirements?
After upgrading our Smart controllers most of our servers F1 saying that the drive firmware is out of date! HELP
Thanks
