SA64000 Battery failed
After a bit of research, I found that I needed firmware revision 6.58, because it could be a false error.
Since I have version 6.8 firmware, I went ahead and replaced both batteries with spares I took from a controller in another server we were not using anymore.
That server was not reporting any errors before I removed the controller to salvage the batteries.
So after replacing the defective batteries on the server reporting the error, I boot it up and it tells me again that the controller has failed batteries and they need to be changed.
Anyone has any ideas what to do next, I was going to change the SA6400, but I wanted to know if there is a way to salvage the original board.
thanks,

Re: SA64000 Battery failed
Could you get me the Driver version as well?
BTW is it 6402 or 6404 (with daughter card)?

Re: SA64000 Battery failed
It doesn't mention version anywhere, but it does have a daughter card. I guess that makes it a 6404.
I replaced both the battery on the board and on the memory chip.

Re: SA64000 Battery failed
And did you replace just the battery on the memory chip or battery along with the memory chip?

Re: SA64000 Battery failed
I replaced only the battery, I kept the same chip.
