SAS Hard Disk not detecting in DL140

Please help, is there some kind of bios setting i have to change, but its not showing up in the bios at all. I will be anxiously awaiting a reply

Ok, it is showing in the boot up LSI Logic detection, still not in bios, i am trying to install Windows Server 2003, but it says no hard drive was detected, do i need to streamline drivers?

By the way its a 300gb SAS/SATA 15k HDD

If i am not mistaken it will NOT show up in the bios if it is attached to your LSI Logic controller.
What OS are you installing? Did you check that your OS supports the LSI Logic controller?

Yeah, it does, in the end i rang HP, it still does not show up in the bios but it did install windows server 2003 once i streamlined the driver with windows unattended. now OS is installed.
