SATA controller in Proliant ML350 G4

Hi,

I have a ML 350 G4 with 2 non-hot plug hard disks, and 2 hot plug hard disks. All connected to the SCSI U320 controller.

I want to increase disk capacity. Only place to add more disks is the hot plug bay. But our IT-reseller is not selling U320 hot swap disks anymore.

Can I add a PCI-sata card to the server, and connect an 'ordinary' sata disk to it?
(If I can find a place to install a HD)

If you have hhot plug SCSI, then add them. It is unclear why your reseller would sell them. May be it is time to get a new reseller?
Since you have 2 internal drives, I am pretty sure there is no more space for more internal drives and youwould not want to back track to SATA.
Look on the HP Parts Store online and you will find the current part numbers for the latest hot plug drives from 73 to 300GB
